SaleBrilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it.
So I've been using this for about a month now, chopping veg every day. The edge is still ridiculously sharp, honestly cant believe it for the price. Its so much better than the cheap supermarket santoku I had before, glides through onions and peppers like theyre not even there. Handle feels really solid too.
Got this as a birthday present for my husband whos really into cooking. He absolutely loves it, says the balance is spot on and its perfect for all the prep he does. Came in a nice sturdy box as well which made it feel like a proper gift.
Its a decent knife, does the job. Sharp out the box and looks nice. I just wasnt blown away I suppose? For forty quid I think I expected it to feel a bit more special in the hand, the handle is fine but nothing amazing. Does what its meant to, just not as impressive as some reviews made out.
Ok so I was a bit nervous ordering a knife online but this is a proper bit of kit. The flat profile of the blade is great for chopping, makes quick work of herbs and garlic. Its my new favourite knife in the kitchen, massive upgrade from my old set. Arrived next day which was a bonus.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it.
Arrived next day which was a bonus. First proper Japanese knife I've owned and I'm impressed. The steel feels quality and it just glides through food. My favourite kitchen tool now.
Solid performer. Arrived quickly. It's a bit more utilitarian looking than I imagined, but that doesn't affect how it cuts. Just a minor aesthetic thing. Very sharp and functional.
Honestly chuffed with this. The finish is nice, it looks the part on the magnetic strip. Performance is top notch, holds its edge really well.
I was a bit nervous buying a knife online but this is spot on. The 7 inch size is ideal for my kitchen, not too big. Cuts tomatoes and peppers with no squashing at all.
Bought as a gift, they were really pleased. It's a lovely knife. I held it and thought the balance was a tiny bit forward for my taste, but the person I gave it to loves it so all good.
Really nice knife, super sharp and well made. The handle shape took a bit of getting used to for me personally, it's a bit more rectangular than I'm used to. Still a great purchase though.
Way better than the Procook set I had. The difference in sharpness is night and day. Been using it daily for 3 weeks now and it's still perfect. Handle is comfortable for long prep sessions.
Great knife, feels solid and the edge retention is good. It's slightly heavier than I expected but I actually prefer it now for tougher jobs. No complaints really.
Lovely knife. The handle has a nice feel to it, not too heavy. Does exactly what you'd want a santoku to do, chops and dices beautifully.
Got this for my husband who loves cooking, he hasn't stopped raving about it. Says it's perfectly balanced and the edge is incredible. Came really well packaged too.
Cant believe how good this is for the price. Used it to break down a whole chicken and it handled everything from the joints to the fine slicing. Blade is still razor sharp weeks later.
Does everything you need a santoku to do and does it well. Sharp, good balance. Maybe the handle could be a bit more contoured for a more secure grip when wet, but it's not a big deal. Happy with my purchase.
Used it to prep a sunday roast, made everything so much quicker. The blade geometry is just right, food doesn't stick to it. Great bit of kit.
Very happy with it, cuts like a dream. The packaging was simple but fine. I suppose I was hoping the finish on the handle might be a tiny bit more premium feeling, but that's just me being picky. Works perfectly.
So sharp out of the box, sliced through a butternut squash like it was butter. The balance is spot on, feels great in the hand. Been my go-to knife for everything the last month.
The knife cuts well, but the handle is uncomfortable to hold.
Great for the price point. Cuts beautifully. The handle, while comfortable, is a bit plain. Wish it came in a different colour or wood option maybe. Still, a great workhorse knife.
Impressed with the sharpness and quality. It's a tad lighter than my old German knife which I'm still adjusting to. Makes precise work easier though. Good knife.
Bought this to replace my old santoku and it's a massive upgrade. The flat profile is perfect for chopping veg, makes quick work of onions and peppers. Really pleased with it.
