SaleOk so I was a bit nervous buying knives online but these are spot on. The handles are really comfortable, that octagonal shape gives you a good grip even when your hands are wet. I use the bigger knife from the set for meat and the santoku for all my chopping. Arrived next day which was a bonus. Really pleased with the purchase.
Brilliant set of knives, exactly what I needed. Been using them daily for a few weeks now, the 5 inch santoku is perfect for smaller jobs and the others cover everything else. They hold their edge really well, still slicing tomatoes paper thin. Cant believe the quality for the price.
Really nice set overall, the knives are sharp and look great on the magnetic strip. My only minor gripe is the handles are a bit chunkier than I'm used to, took a day or two to get comfortable with them. But the performance is fantastic, they glide through veg. Would recommend.
I use the santoku from this set every single day. The flat profile is great for push cutting. The other knives are just as good, really balanced and easy to handle. A proper quality set.
They're alright. The set is fine, does the job. The santoku is okay for veg. I don't know, maybe I was expecting more for the money? They're sharp but nothing special to be honest. They're just... knives.
These are lovely. The handles are comfortable even after a long prep session. I use the santoku the most, it's just the right size for my hands. The whole collection looks really smart in the kitchen.
Positive first impressions with this collection. They're a bit heavier than I expected, not in a bad way just different, gives them a feeling of quality. The santoku is my go-to for most tasks. I do wish the set had included a pairing knife as well, but that's just me being picky. For the money, they're very good.
So I got this set as a birthday present for my wife who loves cooking, and she's absolutely over the moon with it. The santoku is her favourite, she uses it for pretty much all the veg prep now. The whole collection just feels really solid and they came in a lovely box, made it feel like a proper gift. The edge on them is seriously sharp, makes quick work of onions and peppers. Massive upgrade from the old block set we had.
Ok so I was a bit nervous spending this much on knives but I'm so glad I did. Massive upgrade from my old supermarket set. The santoku in particular is a dream for slicing tomatoes and onions.
Bought these as a present for my son's new flat. He loves them, says they're a massive step up. I had a quick go and they are sharp, though the handle shape is a personal preference thing I think. He's happy so I'm happy.
Sharp, good looking set. Does everything I need. The santoku is perfect for herbs. I just find I need to hone them a bit more often than I thought I would. Not a big deal.
My wife loves them, she says they make cooking a joy. The santoku is her favourite for all the veg prep. The set was a great investment, feels like they'll last for years.
Bought these as a gift for my partner who loves cooking. He's over the moon with them, says the balance is spot on and the edge is incredible. The set covers everything he needs.
Brilliant knives, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on them.
Really like this set, the santoku is fantastic for vegetables. My only very minor thing is the handles are a bit more squared off than I'm used to, took a day or two to get comfortable with. Still, great knives.
Good set, does the job well. The edge is brilliant. I just wish the santoku was maybe an inch longer, my hands are quite big. But for the price, they're very good.
After using cheap knives for years, this set is a revelation. They're so sharp and precise. I use the santoku for most things, but having the full set means I'm always covered. Worth it.
Positive overall. The knives are sharp and look good. I find them a tiny bit heavier than I expected, but I don't mind it now, gives a bit more control. The santoku gets the most use.
Bought for my dad who's a bit of a foodie. He said the presentation was great and he's really impressed with the steel quality, says they hold an edge way better than his old ones.
Arrived next day which was a bonus. The set is exactly what I wanted, they're proper sharp and feel solid. I find myself reaching for the santoku for most tasks, it's just so versatile.
Got this set after my mate recommended the shop. Cant believe how sharp they are out the box. Used the bigger knife for a roast chicken and it went through the joints like butter. Really pleased.
Decent enough. The knives are sharp when they arrive. The santoku is usable. I don't get the hype though, they feel like any other mid-range knife set I've had. Not bad, not amazing. They sit in the block and get used.
Good value for a full set like this. The santoku is brilliant. They're not quite as perfectly balanced as some really expensive ones I've used, but for under fifty quid for the set you can't go wrong.
Came really well packaged in a nice box. Been using the different knives for a few weeks now, the santoku is perfect for chopping herbs and the other one is great for meat. Sharpest knives I've ever owned, no contest.
Impressed with the sharpness and how they feel in the hand. The set covers all bases. My only gripe, and it's small, is I wish the blade was a tiny bit thinner behind the edge for even smoother cuts. Still, would recommend.
