Not sure which knife?
Answer a few quick questions about how you cook, and we'll match you with the perfect blade.
Ok so first impressions are really good. The blade is stunning and it arrived really well packaged. It's incredibly sharp and makes quick work of prep. I've only given it 4 stars because, while I love it, I think I personally would prefer a gyuto with a bit more of a curve to the blade for a proper rocking motion. This one is quite flat. Still a brilliant knife though, no complaints on quality.
I use this for everything now, from herbs to meat. The 8.3 inch size is spot on, versatile enough for most jobs in my kitchen.
Lovely knife, the damascus pattern is beautiful. It's sharp and works well. Handle is comfortable but took a day or two to get used to the feel. Would recommend.
Good knife, performs well. I like it. I just personally prefer a bit more of a flat profile on a gyuto for push cutting, this has a bit more of a curve. That's just my preference though, it's a solid bit of kit.
Great knife for the price. The edge retention is impressive, been using it for a few weeks and it's still slicing paper thin. It's a bit heavier than I expected for a Japanese knife, but actually I think I prefer the heft now, gives you more control when chopping. Wish they did a slightly smaller version as well for more delicate work.
Bought this as a birthday present for my husband who loves cooking. He absolutely loves it. Said the balance is perfect and the weight makes it feel really premium. He's used it on everything from slicing beef to chopping herbs and it's performed brilliantly. Came in a nice box too which made it feel like a proper gift.
So impressed with this knife. The pattern on the blade is absolutely stunning, and it's so sharp. Makes prepping veg a total joy, I actually look forward to it now.
Really nice knife, feels great in the hand and is super sharp out the box. The Damascus pattern is lovely. My only very minor thing is the handle shape, it's a bit more oval than I'm used to so took a day or two to get comfortable with. But now I'm used to it, it's fine. Cuts through veg like a dream.
So I've been using this for about a month now, basically every day. The edge is still absolutely razor sharp, haven't had to touch it up at all. It just glides through onions and tomatoes like they're not even there. The handle feels really solid in the hand, and the pattern on the blade is gorgeous, looks even better in person. Massive upgrade from the cheap supermarket knife I was using before.
The blade is stunning, you can see all the layers in the steel. Performs as good as it looks. Came in a nice box too.
Really nice knife, super sharp and looks the part. My only minor thing is the handle shape, it's a bit round for my liking, I prefer a more oval shape. Still a great knife though.
Cant believe how good this is for the price. The damascus finish is gorgeous, looks way more expensive than it is. My favourite kitchen tool now.
Ok so I was a bit nervous spending this much on a knife but I'm glad I did. It just feels right. Cuts everything so cleanly.
Been using it for a few weeks now, mainly for veg prep. Glides through onions and peppers, no sticking. Feels solid and well made.
Okay knife. The pattern is nice and it cuts well. I don't know, maybe my expectations were too high? For the price I guess I expected a bit more. It's good, not great. Does the job.
Birthday present for the wife and she loves it. She says it's the perfect weight, not too heavy. The hammered finish is really unique.
Arrived next day which was a bonus. First impressions are great, it's sharp out of the box and the handle has a good grip.
Used it to break down a whole chicken and it was effortless. The tip is precise enough for the fiddly bits and the belly is great for the rocking motion. Very happy.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it.
I'm just a home cook but this makes me feel like a pro. The balance is incredible, you can chop for ages without your wrist tiring. Very pleased.
Does the job very well, makes quick work of onions and carrots. I think for the money it's good, though the finish on the handle could be a tiny bit smoother. Still happy with the purchase.
Got this for my husband who loves to cook, he hasn't stopped raving about it. Says the edge retention is brilliant, still razor sharp after a month of daily use.
Massive upgrade from the cheap supermarket knife I had. The difference in control and sharpness is night and day. Worth it.
I’m pleased with the quality of this knife. It’s sharp, sturdy, and the handle is comfortable to hold.
It's a decent knife. Does what it says on the tin. Sharp out the box and looks nice. I'm not sure it's that much better than my old one that cost half the price though. It's fine, just not the revelation some reviews made it out to be.
