SaleI use it professionally at home for my meal prep business. It's held up brilliantly, still razor sharp after heavy use. Great value.
The handle shape fits my hand perfectly, which is a first for me. Blade is super thin behind the edge so it just falls through food. Very impressed.
Very good knife for the money. Does everything I need it to. Handle is comfortable but the shape is a little different to what I'm used to, nothing major. Definitely recommend.
It's a decent knife. Does the job. Was expecting to be a bit more wowed for the price if I'm honest. It's sharp, but it feels a bit... ordinary? Nothing wrong with it, just not blown away.
It's an okay knife. Used it for a few weeks now. It's fine for general use but I don't really get the hype. Doesn't feel like a massive step up from my old one. Does the job, that's about it.
Really nice knife, feels solid and the sharpness is impressive. My only very minor gripe is the handle shape, it's a bit more oval than I'm used to so took a day or two to get comfortable with. That said, I'm used to it now and it's my go-to for most jobs. Definitely recommend.
Bought this for my dad and he loves it. He said it's sharp and well balanced. He did mention he'd have liked a saya or a cover for storage, but that's just him being fussy. Great present.
Cant believe how sharp it is out of the box. I've been using it for everything, onions, herbs, slicing meat, and the rocking motion with the gyuto shape just feels natural. Handle is comfortable too. For the price its a steal, way better than the Procook set I had before.
Positive overall. Does exactly what you'd want, glides through veg and holds an edge. It's a touch heavier than I expected for a Japanese knife, but I actually think I prefer the bit of extra heft now I've used it a while. Wish it came in a 9 inch option though, just personal preference. Still a great buy.
Got this for my husband whos really into his cooking and he loves it. He says the balance is spot on and the AUS10 steel holds its edge really well, he's used it to break down a chicken and it went through the joints like butter. He's chuffed to bits with it.
So I've had this for about a month now and it's just brilliant. The edge is still razor sharp after daily use, makes prepping veg for dinner an absolute breeze. I was a bit worried about the 'without box' thing but it came really well wrapped in loads of bubble wrap and cardboard, no issues at all. A massive upgrade from the cheap supermarket knife I was using.
So sharp out the box, sliced through a butternut squash like it was butter. Been my go-to knife for everything for a month now, holds its edge really well. Cant fault it for the price.
For under fifty quid this is an absolute steal. The fit and finish is superb, you can tell it's been put together with care. My go-to recommendation for anyone wanting to step up their knife game.
Way better than the Procook set I had. The edge retention is noticeably better, haven't had to sharpen it yet after weeks of use. Handle is comfy too.
Really nice knife, super sharp and looks great. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the handle is a bit slick if your hands are wet, just takes a bit of getting used to. Still a brilliant knife though.
Used it to break down a whole chicken yesterday, handled the joints and the finer work with the tip no problem. Really versatile blade, feels solid in the hand.
Arrived next day which was a surprise. Knife itself is beautiful, the finish is lovely. It's my first gyuto and I love the rocking motion you can get with it, so much better for herbs than my old santoku.
Really happy with it, use it all the time. It came without a box as stated which was fine, just wrapped in foam. Not a complaint, just an observation. Cuts like a dream.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it.
Performs brilliantly, especially on vegetables. My only wish is that the blade was a tiny bit taller from spine to edge, gives you more knuckle clearance. Still, a lovely knife.
Bought this on a bit of a whim and so glad I did. It just feels right, you know? The weight is spot on, not too heavy not too light. Cuts through tomatoes like a dream.
Great knife, love using it. It is a tad heavier than I was expecting but I actually prefer it now for tougher jobs. Cuts beautifully.
I was a bit nervous buying a proper Japanese knife online but this is the real deal. The AUS10 steel is great, stays sharp for ages. Use it for all my veg prep, makes quick work of onions and peppers.
Alright I suppose. Gets through veg okay. Handle feels a bit cheap to me, not sure what I was expecting. It's fine, does what it says on the tin, but I probably wouldn't buy it again.
Ok so I've had it for three weeks now using it daily. Edge is still there, no corrosion issues, it's just a really reliable, well-made bit of kit. Does exactly what you'd want.
