SaleWay better than the Procook set I had. This feels like a proper chefs knife, the difference in control is night and day.
Very sharp and looks the part. I do wish it came in a slightly longer version, maybe a 9 inch, as I've got big hands. That's just personal preference though, its a quality knife.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it and the handle has a nice grippy feel, even with wet hands.
Birthday present for the wife who's a bit of a foodie, she loves it. Says it's the sharpest knife she's ever owned.
Cant believe how sharp it is, you have to be a bit careful! Makes quick work of onions without any bruising.
Bought this as a birthday present for my husband who loves cooking. He was chuffed to bits with it. Said the balance is spot on for the rocking motion when chopping herbs. Came in a nice box too which made it feel like a proper gift. He wont stop going on about how good it is.
Brilliant knife. Exactly what I needed. The 8 inch size is perfect for most jobs in my kitchen, used it to break down a whole chicken last weekend and it handled it no problem. Lovely edge on it, feels solid in the hand.
So I've had this for about a month now, using it pretty much every day. Honestly, it's just a joy to use. The damascus pattern is stunning, proper looks the business on the magnetic strip. It glides through onions and tomatoes like they're not even there, and the edge is still ridiculously sharp. Massive upgrade from the cheap supermarket knife I was using before.
The blade is just gorgeous, looks amazing on the magnetic strip. Performs even better than it looks.
Been after a proper gyuto for ages to replace my old block set. This one is fantastic. The handle feels great, not too heavy. The blade has a nice curve to it which makes slicing really smooth. Used it on everything from carrots to salmon fillets and it's performed brilliantly. Cant believe how sharp it is, just glides through stuff.
Ok so I was a bit nervous spending this much on a single knife but I'm so glad I did. The layers in the steel are beautiful, each one is unique apparently. Its sharp out of the box and holds its edge really well. Makes prep work so much quicker, I actually look forward to chopping veg now. Arrived next day which was a bonus.
Really nice knife, cuts beautifully. Only reason its not 5 stars is the handle shape took a day or two to get used to, its a bit more oval than I'm used to. Still a great bit of kit though.
Its a decent knife. Does the job fine, cuts well. Just not blown away for the price if I'm honest, expected it to feel a bit more special in the hand. Its good, not great.
Its good. Cuts things. The pattern is nice. But I dont get the hype really, its just a knife at the end of the day. Doesnt make me want to cook any more than I already did. Solid 3 stars.
Used it on some beef short ribs, sliced through the meat and cartilage like it was nothing. Solid purchase.
Arrived next day which was a bonus. Knife is lovely, the patterns are different on each side which is a cool touch.
Mixed feelings. It's perfectly serviceable, used it for a few weeks now. The edge is holding up alright. Just doesn't feel like a massive step up from my last one which was half the price. Its fine.
Been using this daily for a month now, still as sharp as day one. Makes prepping dinner a joy, honestly.
The Damascus finish is beautiful, really unique. Knife feels solid and well made. Cuts through tomatoes like they're not even there.
Really impressed with the craftsmanship. You can tell its been forged properly, not just stamped out. A proper bit of kit.
My favourite kitchen tool now. The edge retention is brilliant, haven't had to sharpen it yet after weeks of use.
Absolutely love this knife. The pattern on the blade is stunning, and it just glides through veg. My old knife feels like a butter knife in comparison.
Came really well packaged in a nice box, felt like a proper premium product. First use was on a butternut squash and it handled it no problem.
Massive upgrade from my old supermarket set. The handle fits my hand perfectly and the rocking motion for chopping herbs is so smooth.
So chuffed with this. Used it to break down a whole chicken and it was effortless, the tip is perfect for getting into joints.
