SaleBrilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Makes quick work of onions and the rocking motion is perfect. A massive upgrade from the cheap supermarket set I had. For the price its an absolute steal.
Massive upgrade from my old Victorinox chef's knife. The Damascus finish is a real talking point when we have people over. It just feels premium.
Really nice knife overall, the sharpness is fantastic and it feels solid. My only minor thing is the handle shape, its a bit more oval than I'm used to so took a day or two to get comfortable with. But I'd definitely recommend it, especially for the price.
Bought this for my husband who's a bit of a foodie and he absolutely loves it. He says the balance is spot on and the handle is really comfortable for his big hands. He's been showing off the Damascus pattern to everyone who comes round. Arrived really well packaged too, no issues at all.
So I got this knife as a birthday present for my wife who loves cooking, shes absolutely over the moon with it. The pattern on the blade is stunning and it just glides through veg. She says its the best knife shes ever used.
It's a decent knife. Does the job. Sharp out of the box and looks nice enough. I suppose I was expecting to be a bit more blown away for sixty quid, it's good but not amazing. Does feel a bit light compared to what I'm used to.
So I got this knife after my old one finally gave up the ghost. Cant believe how sharp it is out of the box, sliced through a butternut squash like it was butter. The pattern on the blade is lovely, looks proper posh on the magnetic strip. Been using it for all my veg prep for a couple weeks now and the edge is still holding up really well.
Its a decent knife. Does the job fine, cuts well and looks nice. I suppose I was expecting a bit more for the money, maybe a bit more heft to it? Its good, but I wasn't blown away. Does what it says on the tin.
Does exactly what you'd want a gyuto to do. The rocking chop is easy and it's razor sharp. I think the balance point is just a smidge forward of where I'd like it, but that's nitpicking. Very happy overall.
Came really well packaged in a nice box, arrived quicker than I thought it would from China. The knife itself is beautiful, the layers in the steel are mesmerising like the description said. Cuts like a dream.
Impressed with the quality, especially for the price. The blade pattern is stunning. Handle is comfortable but it is a bit slick if your hands are wet, just have to keep it dry. Still a solid 4 star knife.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it, makes quick work of onions and tomatoes. The handle feels really solid in the hand.
Been using this daily for 3 weeks now and its still razor sharp. I was a bit worried about the price but honestly its worth it. The rocking motion for herbs is so smooth.
The blade is incredibly thin behind the edge, just slices through things with no effort. I've used it on everything from butternut squash to delicate fish and it performs brilliantly.
Way better than the Procook set I had. This feels like a real chef's knife. The handle shape fits my hand perfectly and I love the look of it.
Very good knife, cuts beautifully. It is a tad heavier than I expected from the pictures but I actually prefer the heft now I've used it a bit. Makes chopping feel more controlled.
Really good knife, no complaints about performance. The steel seems to hold an edge well. I suppose I was expecting the Damascus pattern to be a bit more pronounced? It's there but quite subtle. Still a lovely tool.
Arrived next day which was a bonus. Knife is stunning, the pattern is unique and it feels substantial without being heavy. My favourite knife in the drawer now.
Great value for money, the edge is superb. The packaging was simple but effective. My only wish is that the blade was a tiny bit taller, but that's just personal preference. Would recommend.
Bought this as a gift for my son who's just moved into his own place. He loves it, says its a massive step up from his supermarket knives. He did mention the handle feels a bit cold first thing in the morning, but that's resin for you. Great present.
Got this for my husband who's a bit of a foodie, he cant stop talking about it. Says the edge retention is fantastic and its become his go-to for pretty much everything.
My first proper Japanese knife and I'm chuffed. Its so much sharper than anything I've owned. The handle is comfortable even after a big prep session.
Cuts like a dream, absolutely no issues there. It's a bit lighter than my old German knife which I'm still getting used to, means I have to be a bit more careful with pressure. But it's a quality bit of kit.
Ok so I was a bit sceptical but this knife is the real deal. The sharpness out of the box was incredible, just fell through a ripe tomato. Really happy with my purchase.
Really nice knife, the sharpness is fantastic and it looks the part. My only minor gripe is the handle shape, its a bit more oval than I'm used to so took a day or two to get comfortable with. Still a great knife though.
