Sold OutMassive upgrade from my old supermarket set. The weight is perfect, not too heavy, and the Damascus finish is even nicer in person. Makes prepping dinner a joy.
Got this as a birthday present for my husband who loves cooking. He was made up with it, says the balance is spot on and its the sharpest knife he's ever owned.
Solid knife. Arrived quickly and well packaged. It's a bit lighter than I expected which isn't a bad thing, just different. Cuts brilliantly.
Great performer, slices beautifully. The Damascus finish is stunning. I kinda wish it came with a simple sheath or edge guard though, just for storage.
Got this as a birthday present for my husband who loves cooking. He was chuffed to bits with it. Said the balance is spot on and it's way sharper than his old one. He's been showing it off to everyone. Looks the part as well.
So I've been using this for a couple weeks now and honestly it's a joy. The pattern on the blade is proper nice, like a piece of art. I was a bit nervous about the shape but it's brilliant for slicing veg and the tip is great for more delicate bits. Came really well packaged too, no issues at all.
Lovely piece, makes prep work a lot faster. My only minor thing is I find the tip a bit delicate for my liking, I'm always careful with it. Still, would recommend.
Ok so I was after a new all-rounder and this kiritsuke is perfect. The damascus finish is stunning in person, photos don't do it justice. Makes quick work of onions and herbs, and the flat bit near the handle is great for chopping. Massive upgrade from my old block set, feels like a proper tool. Only thing is I'm now a bit precious about it and won't let anyone else use it!
Cant believe how sharp it is, honestly. Slices tomatoes paper thin with no effort at all. The pattern has a real depth to it, photos dont do it justice.
Really nice knife, feels solid and looks amazing. The edge is fantastic out of the box. My only minor thing is the handle shape, it's a bit squarer than I'm used to so took a day or two to get comfortable with. But that's just personal preference, it's a great bit of kit for the price.
Sharp, good looking, well made. I find myself reaching for it most days. Maybe the spine could be a bit more rounded for comfort, but its a small thing.
It's good, not great. The edge was sharp out the box but I've had cheaper knives that were just as sharp. The handle finish feels a bit plain for a knife with such a fancy blade. Does what it says on the tin.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it.
Been using this for a few weeks now, mainly for slicing fish and veg. Holds its edge really well and the shape is perfect for the push-cut technique. So chuffed with it.
Really happy with it, cuts like a dream. Handle is comfortable but took a day or two to get used to the shape. No regrets buying it.
Great knife for the price. Feels premium and performs like it. The blade is thin behind the edge so it goes through stuff really cleanly.
Bought this on a bit of a whim and I'm so glad I did. The kiritsuke shape is really versatile, I've used it for everything from dicing onions to breaking down a chicken breast. Fantastic bit of kit.
Mixed feelings. It's a good cutter and the steel seems fine. But the balance feels a bit off to me, like it's handle-heavy. Maybe I just need to use it more. It's fine, just not blown away.
My favourite knife in the drawer now. The length is ideal for most tasks and the steel feels really high quality. Looks gorgeous on the magnetic strip.
Absolutely love this knife. The pattern on the blade is stunning, and it just glides through veg. My old knives feel like rubbish now.
Very good knife overall. The edge retention is great, still sharp after a month of use. I do wish it was maybe an inch longer for bigger jobs, but for everyday use its spot on.
Alright I suppose. Cuts fine, handle is okay. The Damascus pattern is nice but it's just a knife at the end of the day. Not sure it's worth nearly seventy quid compared to some others.
Its a decent knife. Looks nice and is sharp. For the money though, I was expecting to be a bit more wowed. It does the job but doesn't feel that special to use.
Bought this for my dad and he loves it. He said it came razor sharp and the balance is good. He did mention the blade is a tad heavier than his old santoku, but he's not complaining.
Came really well packaged in a nice box. First impressions are brilliant, the handle feels solid and the blade is just beautiful. Used it on some carrots and it was like cutting through air.
