Dark Grain 9.5" Damascus Steel Kiritsuke Knife 切り付け包丁
Unleash your inner chef with the Dark Grain 9.5" Damascus Steel Kiritsuke Knife, a blade that turns everyday cooking into a performance of skill and elegance. From its intricate Damascus patterns to the warm, polished tones of its handle, this knife invites you to create with the poise of a professional.
A Blade of Exquisite Precision
Forged from 67 layers of premium Damascus steel, the blade reveals a hypnotic, one-of-a-kind wave pattern that reflects both strength and artistry. Hand-polished to a flawless mirror finish and sharpened to a razor 8–12° edge, it glides effortlessly through vegetables, fish, and meats. Each slice is a moment of precision, each cut a statement of mastery.
Ebony and Warmwood Handle
The handle blends dark, lustrous ebony with a striking band of warm natural wood. This pairing creates a subtle contrast of deep espresso and golden grain, giving the knife an air of understated luxury. Perfectly contoured for comfort and balance, it rests naturally in your hand, letting you move with control and confidence.
Effortless Performance
A delicate hammered finish on the upper blade reduces food adhesion, allowing ingredients to release cleanly and making each movement smoother. Its ideal weight and balance bring a chef’s sense of grace to every preparation—from finely slicing herbs to carving a centerpiece roast.

Sold OutYeah it's alright. Cuts well enough and the pattern is interesting. Not sure it's that much better than my old one to be honest, maybe I just need to use it more. It's fine, just not blown away.
Ok so I was a bit nervous spending this much on a knife but honestly its worth it. The weight and balance is spot on, feels really precise when you're slicing. I've been using it daily for a few weeks now and it's still just as sharp. The dark grain on the handle looks even better in person.
Ok so I'm not a pro chef or anything but this knife makes me feel like one. It's just so satisfying to use. Cuts everything with no effort.
I was a bit sceptical buying a knife online but this is the real deal. The mirror polish is flawless and it's just a pleasure to use. My go-to knife now.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Razor sharp and looks the part. Handle is nice but could be a tiny bit more contoured for my liking. Still, a massive step up from what I had.
Bought this for my dad who's a retired chef, he was chuffed to bits with it. He said the kiritsuke shape is perfect for the way he chops, good for rocking and push cuts. The damascus pattern is hypnotic, he cant stop looking at it. Arrived next day which was a bonus.
So I got this knife as a birthday present for my wife who's really into her cooking, she absolutely loves it. The pattern on the blade is stunning, like proper art, and she says it glides through veg like butter. Came in a nice box too which was a nice touch.
Really lovely knife, incredibly sharp out the box and the finish is beautiful. My only very minor thing is the handle shape, it's a bit more oval than I'm used to so took a day or two to get comfortable with. But that's just personal preference, it's a fantastic bit of kit and I'd definitely recommend it.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Upgraded from my old supermarket one and the difference is night and day. Used it to prep a Sunday roast, the edge is ridiculous, makes quick work of onions and carrots. Handle feels solid in the hand.
Great blade, holds an edge well and looks stunning. I think I just prefer a slightly lighter knife for general use, this one feels a bit more substantial. That's just personal preference though, it's a quality bit of kit.
Massive upgrade from the cheap supermarket set I had. The weight and feel is just different, more precise. The kiritsuke tip is great for detailed work.
Really nice knife, the sharpness is incredible. My only very minor thing is the handle shape, it's a bit square for my grip and took a day or two to get used to. Still, cuts beautifully.
Been using it for three weeks now, still super sharp. The kiritsuke shape is versatile, good for rocking and push cutting. Very happy with it.
Very happy with this, the pattern is gorgeous and it arrived next day which was a bonus. I wish it came with a basic sheath or edge guard for storage, but that's me being picky. Performs brilliantly.
The pattern is different on every knife I think, mine has these lovely dark swirls. It's a proper conversation piece in the kitchen. Cuts like a dream.
Cant believe how good this is for the price. The damascus finish is beautiful and it holds an edge really well. Been using it for everything from slicing tomatoes to chopping herbs, absolutely brilliant.
Used it to break down a whole chicken last weekend and it was effortless. The length is perfect for that sort of job, and it's surprisingly nimble for its size.
It's a decent knife. Looks nice and is sharp. I suppose I was expecting to be more wowed for the price, it's good but not amazing. Does the job fine.
Got this for my husband's birthday and he hasn't stopped going on about it. He's a keen cook and says the balance is spot on. Came in a nice box too which made it feel like a proper present.
My wife got me this as an anniversary gift, best present ever. I love the look of it and it performs even better. Makes me want to cook more.
Solid knife. The damascus effect is really nice and it's sharp. I think the handle, while pretty, is just a bit plain compared to the blade. Performs brilliantly though, no complaints there.
Honestly blown away by this knife. The pattern on the blade is stunning, like proper art. It's so sharp I was a bit nervous at first, but it just glides through veg. My old knives feel like butter knives now.
Impressive knife for the money. The steel seems great. I think I'd have preferred it in an 8 inch size as my kitchen is small, but that's on me for not checking properly. It's a fantastic cutter.
Lovely knife. Arrived quickly and was packaged really securely. The handle has a nice warm feel to it, not too slippery when your hands are wet.
This knife is just what I was looking for. It’s sharp and versatile, handling everything from meat to vegetables with ease. The blade is well-crafted and offers good precision, though it does require frequent sharpening to stay in top condition. The handle is comfortable and provides a secure grip, but I think it could be slightly more ergonomic for better comfort during long cooking sessions. Despite these minor drawbacks, it’s a great knife that’s well worth the investment.
