SaleMy first proper Japanese knife and I'm converted. The difference in sharpness is night and day compared to my old ones. Love it.
My old knife was rubbish so this is a revelation. The flat profile is perfect for chopping, you get a really clean cut. Cant believe how sharp it is.
Bought this for my husband who loves to cook. He was chuffed to bits with it. Said the balance is spot on and the edge is incredible. Came in a nice box too.
So I got this to replace my old supermarket knife and honestly, it's a different world. The blade is so sharp it glides through veg, and the pattern on the steel is gorgeous. My wife keeps telling me off for leaving it on the counter just to look at it. Been using it for a month now and it's still perfect.
Really lovely knife, incredibly sharp and the finish is beautiful. My only very minor thing is the handle shape, it's a bit more oval than I'm used to so took a day or two to get comfortable with. That's just personal preference though, I'd definitely recommend it.
I do a lot of cooking and this has become my main prep knife. The weight is good, not too heavy, and it just feels precise. Really pleased.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it.
Bought this for my dad who loves cooking, he was over the moon. He said the flat profile of the santoku is spot on for chopping herbs and the handle feels really secure in his hand. Came in a nice box too which made it feel like a proper present.
I was a bit nervous spending this much on a knife but honestly its worth it. The damascus pattern is beautiful and it feels so solid in the hand. I've used it for everything from slicing tomatoes to chopping herbs and it just glides through.
Ok so I was a bit nervous spending this much on a knife but I'm so glad I did. Makes quick work of onions and peppers, the damascus pattern is stunning in real life. It's a massive upgrade from the cheap set I had, feels balanced and just... proper. Arrived next day which was a bonus.
Used it to break down a whole chicken and it went through the joints surprisingly well for a santoku. Held its edge perfectly. Very versatile knife.
Way better than the Procook santoku I had. This one feels like a proper tool. The handle has a good grip to it and the blade is perfectly shaped for a rocking chop.
Gorgeous looking knife, looks way more expensive than it was. Performs brilliantly too, very happy with the purchase.
Really good knife, use it all the time. The damascus pattern is stunning. I just find myself reaching for a different knife for really heavy duty chopping like big squash, but for 95% of jobs it's brilliant.
Very happy with this purchase. The edge is fantastic and it looks the part. Knocked a star off because I personally would have preferred a darker coloured handle, but that's just my taste. Doesn't affect how it works.
Lovely knife, cuts brilliantly. My only minor gripe is I wish it came in a slightly longer size, maybe an 8 inch option. But for most tasks this 7 inch is perfect.
So I got this to replace my old santoku and its a massive upgrade. The blade is absolutely stunning, the pattern is lovely. It's been my go-to for veg prep for a few weeks now and its still razor sharp. Makes quick work of onions.
Came really well packaged. The knife itself is a beauty, the layers in the steel are really clear. Cuts like a dream, super sharp.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it.
Got this as a birthday present for the wife and she loves it. She says its so much better than the block set we had before. The damascus steel is proper nice looking.
Solid knife, performs really well. The flat spot is great for chopping. I suppose my only wish is that it came with a simple edge guard or something in the box, but that's me being picky. The knife itself is top notch.
I use this for all my vegetable prep. The 7 inch size is ideal, not too big not too small. It's just a really good, solid knife.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Sharp, good looking, well made. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the balance feels a tiny bit forward for my liking, but it's still a massive upgrade from my old one.
Been using this daily for about a month now. Edge retention is fantastic, haven't had to sharpen it yet. It's my favourite knife in the kitchen now.
Bought this as a gift for my dad and he loves it. He said it's incredibly sharp and well made. He did mention the blade is a bit thinner than his old German knife so he's being more careful with it, but he sees that as a good thing. Very positive.
