Sold OutReally good knife, does the job perfectly. The only thing is the handle shape is a bit square for my hand, took a day or two to get used to it. But the cutting performance is spot on, slices through crusty bread with no effort at all. Would recommend.
Got this to replace my old blunt bread knife and wow what a difference. Slices through crusty sourdough like its nothing, no tearing at all. My husband's a baker and he's nicked it for his own kitchen now.
Birthday present for the wife who loves baking. She absolutely loves it, says its her favourite tool in the kitchen now. Looks smart on the magnetic strip too.
Ok so I was a bit sceptical spending this much on a bread knife but honestly its worth it. The blade has a nice heft to it, feels quality. Makes quick work of bagels and even a tough pumpkin I tried it on. Arrived next day which was a bonus.
So I bake a lot of sourdough and my old bread knife was useless. This one glides through the crust like its butter, no tearing at all. The handle feels really secure in the hand, not cheap like some. Been using it for a fortnight now and its still just as sharp.
Massive upgrade from the rubbish one I had in a block set. The length is perfect for a big loaf, and the serrations are really aggressive so it just powers through. Used it on a crusty ciabatta yesterday and it was effortless. Brilliant knife.
Cuts crusty bread without making a massive mess of crumbs everywhere. The blade has a nice heft to it, feels quality.
Used it on a big crusty farmhouse loaf and it went through the crust with zero effort. Handle's comfortable even when your hands are a bit floury. Really pleased.
Bought this as a birthday present for the wife who's got into baking. She absolutely loves it, says its the best knife she's ever used for bread. Came in a nice box which made it feel a bit more special. Cant believe how sharp it is.
Cuts through bagels and brioche perfectly, no squashing. Blade feels really solid and well made. Arrived quickly too.
Came really well packaged, no worries there. First use was on a fresh focaccia and it didn't drag any of the soft top off. Brilliant.
Handle feels great in the hand, not too heavy. Slices through sourdough crusts like a dream, no crumbling.
Been using it for three weeks now, still razor sharp. Makes quick work of my morning toast bread and even dense rye loaves.
It's a decent knife. Does the job on bread fine. Not sure it's that much better than my old one to be honest, especially for the price. It's alright.
Expected a bit more for a Japanese knife to be honest. It's sharp and all, but it feels quite similar to other bread knives I've used. It's perfectly serviceable.
I was a bit unsure spending this much on a bread knife but honestly its worth it. The serrations are so sharp and it just glides. Makes my weekend loaf slicing a proper joy.
I do a lot of baking and this is my go-to now. The tip is really useful for scoring dough before it goes in the oven as well, didn't expect that.
Does exactly what you want a bread knife to do, slices cleanly through everything. I think I just expected it to be a bit lighter from the pictures? It's not heavy, just more substantial than I thought. Still recommend it.
Bought this after reading reviews. It's a good knife, no complaints really. Just didn't blow me away like I thought it might. Gets the job done.
Really good knife, cuts beautifully. My only very minor thing is the handle shape is a bit square for my grip, took a day or two to get used to. Still a great buy though.
I was using a cheap serrated knife before and the difference is night and day. This one actually cuts instead of just ripping the bread apart.
My old knife used to mash up soft rolls, this one doesn't. Simple as that. Good bit of kit.
Massive upgrade from the one in my block set. The length is perfect for a big loaf, you don't have to saw back and forth. Just a couple of easy pulls and you're through.
Bought this for my mum as she was struggling with her supermarket knife. She rang me up raving about it, says it's changed her life for cutting her seeded batch. Came in a nice box as well.
Perfect for challah and brioche, doesn't squish them at all. Arrived next day which was a bonus. Very happy with it.
