Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it, makes quick work of a fresh bloomer. The handle feels really solid in the hand too. Came in a nice box which was a bonus as it was a present for my mum.
Its a decent knife. Does what its supposed to, cuts bread fine. The pattern is nice and it came well packaged. I suppose I just expected to be a bit more wowed for the price? Its good, but not sure its that much better than my old one to be honest. Does the job though.
So I got this to replace my old bread knife which was rubbish, honestly cant believe the difference. The pattern on the blade is gorgeous and it just glides through crusty sourdough like its nothing, no tearing at all. Been using it for a few weeks now and it still feels brand new, sharp as the day it arrived. My husband keeps nicking it for his weekend baking.

My only very minor thing is the handle shape, its a bit more oval than I'm used to so took a day or two to feel completely natural in my grip. Still, would definitely recommend it, its a quality bit of kit.
Ok so I was a bit hesitant spending this much on a bread knife but its a massive upgrade from the cheap one in my block. The weight is perfect, feels really balanced. Used it on a challah loaf and it cut the softest slices without squashing it. The damascus finish is stunning, looks proper posh on the magnetic strip. Arrived next day which was a nice surprise.

Massive upgrade from the rubbish bread knife I had in a block set. This one actually works. Been using it for a few weeks now and its still just as sharp, cuts through bagels and crusty rolls with no effort.
