bought this for my husband for his birthday, hes over the moon. used it to joint a lamb shoulder and said it was effortless. nice weight to it, not too heavy. came well packaged as well.
I bought this after my old cleaver handle cracked. This one feels much more sturdy. The hammered texture is a godsend, no more potato sticking. Would buy again.
Cant fault the blade, its brilliant. The leather sheath is nice but the fit is a bit too tight, struggles to go in smoothly. Small thing, but stops me giving 5. Knife itself is spot on.
Had this a month now, use it most days for prepping veg and meat. Still razor sharp, no need to hone yet. The handle has a nice grain to it. Very happy.
So I needed a decent cleaver for breaking down ribs and this does the job proper. The leather sheath is a nice touch, keeps it safe in the drawer. Edge retention seems good so far.

Ok so I wasnt expecting much for £35 but this is a solid bit of kit. Used it to chop through pork ribs and it went through bone no bother. The blade didnt chip at all. Leather sheath fits snug.
Bought this on a whim. Its a solid knife, the hammered finish works well. Handle is a bit slippery when wet though, need to be careful. Other than that, its a good bit of kit.
