Sold OutIt's a decent knife. Does the job fine, chops veg alright. I suppose I was expecting a bit more for the money, maybe a bit more heft or something? It's not bad by any means, just a bit...unremarkable. Does what it says on the tin, but I wasn't blown away.
Got this for my husband who loves cooking and he hasn't stopped going on about it. Says the balance is brilliant and the anti-rust coating is a nice touch as he's a bit forgetful about drying things. Came really well packaged too, no issues. He's used it on everything from chopping herbs to breaking down a chicken.
Honestly cant believe how sharp this is out the box. Used it to prep a sunday roast, went through carrots and butternut squash like they were butter. The weight is spot on, feels really solid in your hand. Been using it for a fortnight now and its my go-to knife, massive upgrade from the cheap supermarket one I had.
Really good knife overall, very sharp and solid. The handle shape took a bit of getting used to for me personally, its a bit square. But I'm used to it now and it's fine.
Really good knife overall, the steel is great and it holds an edge well. My only minor thing is the handle shape, it's a bit square for my liking and took a day or two to get used to. That said, I've used it loads and it's a solid performer, definitely recommend it.
Positive first impressions. Does the job very well, chops through bone no problem. I do wish it came in a slightly longer size though, maybe an 8 inch option. Still a great buy.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it.
So I was a bit nervous buying a cleaver online but this is lovely. The size is perfect for my smaller hands, not too intimidating. The edge is fantastic, makes quick work of onions and peppers. For the price, it's a proper bit of kit. Arrived next day which was a bonus.
Good knife, sharp and well made. It's become my go-to for breaking down poultry. Just a tiny bit thicker behind the edge than I'm used to, but it's not a problem, just different. Works a treat.
Alright I suppose. Got it to replace an old one. It's good, not great. The balance feels a bit off to me, handle feels a bit light compared to the blade. It works, but I'm not blown away.
Bought this as a birthday present for the wife, shes been wanting a proper cleaver for ages. She's over the moon with it, says it's her new favourite kitchen tool.
It's a decent knife. Does the job. I was maybe expecting a bit more for the price, it's fine but nothing special. The edge was okay out of the box but needed a proper sharpen to get it how I like.
Ok so I've had this a few weeks now and its brilliant. Use it mostly for chopping herbs and veg, the flat of the blade is great for scooping everything up.
Came really well packaged in a nice box. The blade itself is a thing of beauty, really nicely finished. Does exactly what a cleaver should.
Very happy with this purchase. It's a proper sturdy cleaver. I wish it had come with a simple edge guard or sleeve for storage, but that's me being picky. The knife itself is spot on.
Way better than the Procook set I had before. This one actually holds an edge. Been using it for all my heavy duty chopping.
Perfect weight for me, not too heavy not too light. The handle is comfortable even after a long session prepping a sunday roast.
Solid bit of kit. Used it to prep a big batch of stew and it was effortless. Slight thing - the spine of the blade is a bit sharp, could do with a slight rounding. Doesn't affect use.
I was a bit sceptical at this price point but honestly its fantastic. The anti-rust coating seems to work a treat, just a quick wipe down after use.
Got this for my husband whos really into his cooking, he loves it. Says the weight is perfect for chopping through chicken bones.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Cuts beautifully. The handle is comfortable but I think a darker wood or resin would look nicer, just a style thing. Performs great though.
Great cleaver for the money. My only minor gripe is that it's a tad heavier than I expected, but to be honest I actually prefer it now for heavy chopping. Would recommend.
So I've been using this daily for about a month now, mostly for veg prep. The edge is still razor sharp, cant believe how good it is for the price. Makes quick work of onions.
Arrived next day which was a bonus. First impressions are great, it's sharp out of the box and feels very sturdy. Chopped through some pork ribs like they were butter.
It's... fine. Cuts things. Handle is comfortable enough. I don't know, maybe my expectations were too high but it just feels like a fairly standard cleaver. Gets the job done but I wouldn't rave about it.
