SaleVery good knife, edge is fantastic. It's a tiny bit heavier than I was expecting but I actually prefer it now I've used it a bit, gives you more control. Would recommend.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it.
Bought this to replace an old chipped knife and it's a world apart. Cuts like a dream. Slightly thicker spine than I'm used to but you get used to it quickly. Very good value.
Bought this as a birthday present for my wife who loves cooking. She was over the moon with it, said it's her new favourite thing in the kitchen. She's used it for everything from slicing tomatoes to chopping herbs and says it's a massive upgrade from the old set we had. Came in a nice box too which made it feel like a proper gift.
Really nice knife overall, feels solid and looks the part. The edge retention seems good so far. My only very minor thing is the handle shape, it's a bit more oval than I'm used to so took a day or two to get comfortable with it. But now I am, it's great. Would definitely recommend.
Love this knife. The handle colour is nicer in person than in the photos. It's just a joy to use, makes cooking feel a bit more special.
Ok so first proper Japanese knife and I'm impressed. The profile is just right for how I chop, glides through food. Handle has a nice texture, doesn't slip even with wet hands.
Ordered this on a whim and I'm so glad I did. It came really well packaged. The finish is beautiful and it just feels like a proper bit of kit. Cuts through tomatoes like a dream.
I've got a few decent knives now and this is the one I reach for most days. The 8 inch size is perfect, not too big not too small. Holds an edge way better than my old ones.
So I got this to replace my old supermarket knife and wow, what a difference. The weight is perfect, feels really balanced in the hand. Used it on a load of veg for a curry and it just glides through onions, didn't even make my eyes water. Edge is still super sharp after a few weeks of daily use. Really pleased with it.
So sharp out the box, sliced through a butternut squash like it was butter. Been using it for all my veg prep and its holding its edge really well. Cant believe the price to be honest.
Ok so I was a bit nervous spending this much on a single knife but honestly its worth it. The handle feels really secure, not slippery at all even when my hands are a bit wet. The blade is just the right length for me, great for that rocking motion when you're chopping. Arrived next day which was a bonus. Cant believe how sharp it is, makes prep so much quicker.
Been using this daily for 3 weeks now and its still razor sharp. The shape is really versatile, I use it for everything from slicing meat to dicing veg. Handle is comfortable even after a big cooking session.
Bought this for my dad who's a bit of a foodie, he rang me up specially to say how chuffed he is with it. Says the edge retention on the AUS10 steel is great, he hasn't had to sharpen it yet.
Impressed with the quality, especially for under sixty quid. The blade is perfect. I just personally find the handle a bit plain looking compared to some others, but that's just aesthetics, it works perfectly.
Great knife for the price, cuts beautifully. My minor gripe is I wish it came in a slightly longer size, maybe a 9 inch, as I'm quite tall and have big hands. Still, very happy with it.
Brilliant knife, exactly what I needed. Lovely edge on it.
Got this as a birthday present for my husband who loves cooking. He absolutely loves it, says the balance is spot on and the handle feels really secure in his hand. Came in a nice box too.
Sharp out of the box and has stayed sharp with regular honing. Handle is fine, does the job, though I think I'd prefer a darker wood colour. That's just me being picky, it's a fantastic knife.
Really pleased with this. It's sharp, well balanced and looks the part on my magnetic strip. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Really like this knife, the steel is great. It's just a touch more forward-heavy than my other gyuto, so the balance point is different. Not a problem, just a preference thing. Still a great buy.
Great all-rounder, use it for most things in the kitchen. The blade is a tiny bit shorter than 8 inches if you measure from the handle, but it doesn't affect performance at all. Very happy.
I was a bit nervous buying a proper knife online but this is lovely. The steel feels quality and it's just the right size for my hand. Used it to break down a whole chicken and it went through the joints with no bother at all.
Massive upgrade from my old supermarket knives. The weight is perfect for a proper rocking motion when chopping herbs. Makes quick work of onions, I don't even cry as much! Arrived next day which was a bonus.
Way better than the Procook set I had. The blade has a nice heft to it without being too heavy, feels really precise. My new favourite kitchen tool.
