SaleSo impressed. Used it to break down a whole chicken and it handled the joints and the fine slicing for the breast meat with no issues at all. A proper all-rounder.
Great knife for the money, super sharp and looks the part. I use it nearly every day. I do wish it was maybe a 9 inch instead of 8, just a personal preference as I've got big hands. But thats a minor thing, it performs brilliantly. Arrived quickly and well packaged.
Bought this for my husband whos a bit of a home cook and he loves it. He said the blade shape is perfect for the rocking motion he uses and the handle is really comfortable. Came in a nice box too which was a nice touch. For the price, seems like a proper bit of kit. He's been showing it off to everyone.
Really nice knife, feels quality and cuts beautifully. My only slight thing is the handle shape, its a bit more oval than I'm used to so took a day or two to get comfortable with it. But the blade itself is fantastic, great for slicing meat and veg. Definitely an upgrade from what I had before.
Does the job brilliantly, sharp and sturdy. The blade profile is great. I just personally prefer a wa handle over this western style one, but that's just my preference. Would still recommend.
Got this as a gift for my husband whos really into cooking. He loves it, says the balance is spot on and the handle is really comfortable for his big hands. Looks the part too.
Its a decent knife. Does the job fine, cuts well. I suppose I was expecting a bit more for fifty quid? Its nice but I wasnt blown away. Handle feels a bit light compared to the blade. Its good, not great. Does what it says on the tin really.
Cant believe how good this is for the price. My old knife was a cheap supermarket thing, this is a massive upgrade. Makes prepping veg so much quicker and more enjoyable.
Great knife. Arrived next day which was a bonus. Used it on some beef short ribs, went through the cartilage and meat no problem. Very happy.
So I got this to replace my old battered chef's knife and honestly its brilliant. The edge is ridiculously sharp out of the box, went through a pile of carrots and onions like they werent even there. Feels really solid in the hand and the balance is spot on. Been using it for a few weeks now and it still looks brand new, no issues at all. My new favourite bit of kit.
Very happy overall. The edge is fantastic. It is a bit heavier than I expected from the pictures, but I actually think I prefer the heft now I've used it a bit. Gives it more authority.
Absolutely brilliant knife. The edge is so sharp out of the box, sliced through a butternut squash like it was butter. Been my go-to for everything for a few weeks now and it's still perfect.
Been using it daily for a month now and it's still razor sharp. The steel seems really good quality. Makes quick work of onions without making your eyes water as much.
Birthday present for the wife and she adores it. She says it's the sharpest knife she's ever used and loves how it looks on the magnetic strip.
Impressed with the sharpness and how it holds an edge. It's a proper workhorse. I find the very tip isn't as fine as I'd like for super delicate work, but for 99% of kitchen tasks it's spot on.
Way better than the Procook set I had before. Feels like a proper tool. My mates were well impressed when they saw it.
Really good knife, super sharp. The handle is a tiny bit chunkier than I'm used to so took a day or two to get comfortable with it. Still a great buy though.
My first proper Japanese knife and I'm converted. The difference in control is night and day compared to my old block set. Cuts through tomatoes like a dream.
Handle fits my hand really nicely. The blade has a great profile for push cutting, just glides through potatoes and carrots.
Solid bit of kit. Used it to thinly slice some salmon for sashimi and it performed brilliantly. No sticking, clean cuts.
Love it. The rocking motion you can get with it is perfect for herbs. My favourite knife in the block now, use it for 90% of my prep.
Bought it on a bit of a whim but so glad I did. It's just a joy to use, makes cooking feel less of a chore. The edge retention is really good.
Really pleased with this. The balance point is just in front of the handle, makes it feel really nimble and controlled in use.
This knife offers exceptional control and precision.
Arrived really well packaged in a nice box. The blade is stunning, really nice finish on it. Feels solid and premium in the hand.
